The Frese Group has appointed Ulrich Gammelgaard as its new CFO, along with Peter Agneborn as CCO. They will both become part of Group Management alongside CEO René Barington.
By strengthening its management Frese, based in Slagelse, Denmark, embarks on an exciting new chapter of its growth journey, which in recent years has yielded an average growth of 10% per year.
“We are incredibly happy that Peter and Ulrich have chosen to contribute to Frese’s continued growth. We have great expectations for the future and are aware that increasing growth means we need experienced and competent people on our team. We have that now,” expresses CEO René Barington.
Ulrich Gammelgaard joins Frese from a position as Vice President of Finance and Performance Management at Velux. Ulrich is highly experienced in economy, IT and complex production and logistics supply chains.
“Frese is a very attractive company with a deep value chain. For example, we develop sustainable products, have complex logistics, and global sales in expanding markets. That makes for a lot of interesting tasks to focus on,” says Ulrich Gammelgaard about his appointment.
Peter Agneborn, formerly Divisional Sales & Marketing Director at IMI Hydronic Engineering, has many years of industry experience and will be responsible for Sales & Marketing.
Peter expresses his enthusiasm about joining Frese: "I look forward to leveraging my extensive experience in sales and marketing, particularly within this industry, to contribute to the further growth of a company renowned for its innovative, high-quality products. These products, in many cases, help reduce our partners’ CO2 emissions."
Frese is an industry leader in the global market for dynamic valve technology regulating heating and cooling systems, as well as the premier metal and steel foundry in the Nordic countries. The company has an extensive portfolio of products serving various international market segments across different sectors. Frese produces and ships these products from production facilities all over the world.
“It is not an exaggeration to claim that we are looking towards an exciting future, where every part of our business becomes more complex,” René Barington says and goes on to emphasize: “With the expansion of group management, we can now focus 100% on every part of the company.”
