You will report to Global Product Manager & Head of Project Engineering, Rasmus Frimann Nielsen.
About the Role:
As a Junior Proposal Engineer, you will work closely with our Global Proposal Engineer and entire Frese Sales team on delivery high quality value based quotations. Furthermore you will become responsible for the entire pre- and postorder process for non-standard orders. You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver solutions that meet our customers’ specifications and expectations, while also helping to strengthen Frese’s position as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Valve Selection: Conduct the valve selection process for established customers, ensuring the technical solutions meet their needs.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare quotations for new customers in close collaboration with the sales team.
- Pricing Strategy: Implement and follow the pricing strategy in collaboration with product management and sales.
- CRM System: Continuously use the Customer Relationship Management system to track and qualify opportunities/quotations.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with relevant departments (Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, R&D) and stakeholders in project deliveries.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership and ensure timely delivery of products with the specified quality in project deliveries.
- Sales Support and Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships with the sales organization and ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality support.
- Order Handling Support: Assist with order handling and follow-up in our ERP system on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
We hope you have the following qualifications and experience:
- A relevant technical background, such as Marine Engineer, Engineer, B.Sc., Export Engineer, or other relevant technical education or experience.
- Experience with HVAC, cooling, heating, and flow management systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Independence, good structure with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and standards is a plus.
