The new Managing Director is the current CCO, Peter Agneborn. This transition is a natural continuation of Finnish Vexve OY’s acquisition of Frese A/S on 31 January 2025. The acquisition provides a strong foundation to continue the growth journey that Frese A/S has been on for several years.
Peter Agneborn takes the helm of a company that experienced growth of approximately 16% in 2024 and saw a pre-tax profit increase of more than 100% compared to 2023. The 2024 financial results are the best ever for Frese A/S.
René Barington will continue as a board member of Frese A/S and as CEO of Frese Holding ApS, Frese Ejendomme ApS, and Frese Metal- og Stålstøberi A/S.
“It has been a great privilege to lead Frese A/S. I am particularly grateful for the collaboration with the board and employees. I am also proud of the results we have achieved together. However, I have now reached a point in my career where it is time to pass the baton to new leadership, which, together with Vexve, can take the next steps in the company’s development,” says René Barington.
Peter Agneborn looks forward to leading Frese A/S: “First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for the trust placed in me. After 80 years as a family-owned business, Frese A/S is now part of Vexve Group Oy, Europe’s leading supplier of valves for the energy sector and energy-intensive industries.
