I work in Frese's internal sales department under the Buildings segment, a role I’ve held for more than 10 years, which is more the norm than the exception here at Frese, where many employees have been with the company for many years. My background includes a solid office administration education and nearly 30 years of experience in sales. As a Global Sales Coordinator, I work daily with sales in Denmark, Scandinavia, and the rest of Europe, where my primary role is sales support for our customers.
My responsibilities include order processing, where I receive, process, and follow up on customer orders, ensuring they are correctly registered in the system and sent to production or storage in due time. A significant part of my time is spent on customer support, answering questions, providing updates on order status, and handling any inquiries or issues that may arise.
I also assist the sales team by preparing quotes and creating sales reports and analyses, allowing the external salespeople to focus on closing deals. Everything is coordinated with other departments, such as logistics, production, and finance, to ensure all orders are handled correctly and delivered on time. Collaboration with these departments is essential to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods to customers. Additionally, I manage documentation, including maintaining sales documentation, contracts, and other relevant paperwork, ensuring everything is up-to-date and easily accessible in our CRM system.
I have always found the sales field to be an exciting area of work. It’s thrilling when a big order comes through, and over time, you build close relationships with regular customers. I often participate in trade fairs, both domestically and internationally, and frequently attend customer events, where I meet clients in face to face.
Personally, I live locally with my husband, and our adult daughter has just left the nest. When I’m not at work, I’m involved in board work in the local community, enjoy sailing, or train for marathons. My passion for running fits perfectly with Frese's focus on health and fitness. Every year, we participate in activities like running events, the Ladywalk, yoga classes, and similar activities that promote everyday health.
If I had to choose one thing that best describes Frese, it would probably be the sense of closeness. I still remember, 10 years ago during my onboarding, the feeling of having come home. I still have that feeling today; Charlotte says with a twinkle in her eye.
