BLOX is a sustainable building situated alongside Frederiksholms Canal in Copenhagen. BLOX is home to the Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) – Denmark’s national centre for the development and dissemination of knowledge about architecture, building and urban development.
In addition, the brand new building has a fitness centre, apartments, parking and a restaurant with both indoor and al fresco seating.
The space around BLOX has activity areas and playgrounds, which can be transformed into a stage for cultural events. BLOX is a sustainable building, where one of the objectives has been to reduce water and electricity consumption.
In BLOX, Frese ALPHA dynamically regulates the flow in the radiant ceilings for cooling and heating. Frese ALPHA ensures that the balance is maintained, and that heating and cooling are evenly distributed within the system. Frese STBV has been used as reference valve.
