Matthew joins Frese from Crane Distribution Limited (trading as Tradelink Plumbing Supplies) and will be responsible for business improvement through product specification and sales in Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria. He will join James Reid in continuing to develop and grow the Frese brand in Australia.
Matthew’s addition to the Frese sales organisation supports the global growth strategy within the business and he states “I’m thrilled to be joining Frese and excited to be a member of a talented and passionate global team. I was fortunate enough in my previous role to work closely with James Reid (General Sales Manager - Frese APAC), where together we laid a strong foundation for future growth and presence of Frese products in the Australian market. Despite the persistently challenging economic climate in the wake of the global financial crisis, Frese have 'gone against the grain' with consistent year-on-year sales growth in this region and I look forward to contributing to the continued success and exponential growth of this dynamic and exciting company”.
James Reid, Frese Asia Pacific General Sales Manager, states “Matthew’s technical knowledge, experience, market contacts and commercial acumen will no doubt prove invaluable in enabling significant growth for Frese within Australia during the coming years”.
He continues, “Matthew’s previous role as National Industrial Business Manager was largely focussed on HVAC product management and he has been instrumental in helping Frese to secure many of our major projects in Australia”.
Matthew, who is based in Melbourne, has an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering awarded from Melbourne's Monash University.
