The Atlantic Building is a 15-years old office building situated near the Montparnasse Tower in Paris. Unfortunately the cooling system never functioned as it was supposed too. Although the owner of the building took the decision to address the problem, it wasn't possible to close down everything for the necessary works (as it will be also impossible to disturb office employees in the future for maintenance and/or re-balancing of the cooling system). Therefore the task was to find a solution where, without emptying the offices, 10 units would be replaced at a time.
Solution to the poor performance of the static balancing valves that were initially installed in the complex
4000 Frese Automatic Balancing Valves were selected to replace the static balancing valves and to ensure the hydraulic balance of the cooling circuit in the building.
