During the past 20 years the Croatian investments in developing the country have been low because of the political and economical situation. This has created an urgent necessity to invest in Croatia's infrastructure and buildings. Since Croatian politics is oriented towards entering the EU the industry expects new investments at a much bigger scale than in recent years.
- Adoption and implementation of new legislation enhancing energy efficiency will open the country to even more market opportunities as well as Frese's new generation of products, "green valves", says Davorin Komin, Director at IMP Termotehnika Regulacija d.o.o.
He points out that Frese has the best technical solutions for balancing the flow and regulation of temperature in heating and cooling systems. Although the Croatian population of 4.5 mil citizens defines a rather small market, there are a number of competitors in the Croatian market. They were previously very active in static balancing, but now they are focusing on the automatic balancing valves. Komin believes that his company's collaboration with Frese as a Distributor will achieve good results and make the company a leader in the market.
In Croatia more and more office projects focus on systems based on dynamic balancing valves and it has become necessary for IMP to adjust to these market needs.
- In our scanning of the market we discovered that Frese was a World pioneer in development and production of dynamic balancing valves. And so we contacted the company. The most surprising info I found was that for 25 years Frese has been producing dynamic balancing valves - not the static balancing valves, which everyone in the market are familiar with and of course producing, says Davorin Komin.
IMP Termotehnika Regulacija d.o.o. was founded in Zagreb in 1992 and focus on sales of products for regulation and measure of temperature, flow and pressure in HVAC and Industry systems. IMP's
customers are also Distributors, because the company's relationship is based on long mutual trust and open cooperation.
